THE EMPW STORY
It all started on the back of a napkin at a Starbucks…
Here’s what really happened…
I (Kelsey) will never forget when Michelle and Taryn called me on speaker phone saying… “soooo we’re going to start a networking group… and we need you to be a part of it.”
2 weeks later we’re mapping out a membership at a Starbucks and throwing up a logo on Canva, saying “we’ll make it pretty later.”
4 weeks later we’re kicking off at Revival Hair Co with our flagship event, Boss Up, and the rest is history! Since then we’ve grown as a community and as individuals. We found our footing in this space (the intersection of raw authenticity and growth infused get-shit-done).
What started as a middle finger to all the outdated networking models has unintentionally turned into something so much bigger than us (the tripod). WE need Empower just as much as everyone else who’s walked through our doors.
And now as we start to write this next chapter with Empower House, we are beyond thrilled to embark on a whole new level of Entrepreneurship, together. Join us for our messy, authentic, but in a get-shit-done kinda way ride. Truthfully, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Can I be real for sec? When EMPW came to be… I saw it as a way for ME to give back. Little did I know how much it would GIVE to me. It’s become a source of joy, support, growth, and fun that I desperately needed.
You see, by day I’m a business coach. And while the title doesn’t quite do my “job” justice, it’s the closest most concise description I could find. In short, I help ambitious business owners harness their productivity and passions. The result?
Productive teams. Increased profits. Confident CEO’s. I find that trifecta is the secret sauce to success when you’re striving for your first million and beyond.
Needless to say, I work with some badassess. Every day is different. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s the perfect fusion of my BA in Entrepreneurship + 3 years as a Hair Salon Owner.
And though I could talk for hours about KPI’s, systems, and leadership, I do more than just work (I swear!) I’m currently preggo with my first kid. Married to my BFF of like 12 years. And enjoying our first home, in the same town as Michelle and Taryn (we’ve been friends a LONG time and it sort of just happened that way). Catch me listening to true crime, playing board games with my family, or searching the sky for Bald Eagles (my fav).

I have a passion for people, it's always fueled my life in one way or another. I started my professional career in hospitality and after hustling both jobs, I quit my “day job” and jumped fully into real estate!
Now I’m 6+ years in and have learned so much as a business owner. I knew early on that surrounding myself with like-minded women to grow and learn from, would be a huge asset for me, personally. A phone call and coffee chat later and boom EMPW became alive!
I wear many other titles beyond real estate agent - wife, aunt, sister, friend, community volunteer, gym partner, the list goes on. But my favorite of them all is Mama to the most beautiful babies in the world Evelynn and Michael.
Another reason that I am passionate about building up a community of strong women is to show the next generation of girls that if I can do it, they can too.
Other things that fuel my fire - curating events, delivering keys, creating family memories and all things wine + iced coffee! Can't wait to get to know you more!
OUR HUSTLE, HEART & SOUL (TARYN)
My motto for life is to “Live your life through love” and I aspire to do that, while surrounding myself with people who feel the same. That is why this group is so important to me. Cheering people on while they achieve their goals and lending a listening ear/support in times of struggle is something that really fills my cup (hello, enneagram 2). I am so excited to continue to grow with this community of strong successful women.
Now what is it I actually do though? I am here to help navigate the realm of home financing! Been in the industry for 9 years – started as a front desk marketing assistant, and now I’m extremely dedicated to being the best Loan Matchmaker and Educator out there. I am here to guide you through the journey of securing your first home, forever homes, and everything in between.
Buying a home is more than a transaction, it is a milestone in ones life and an unforgettable experience. It is an achievement for you, your family, and should be treated with care, attention and most importantly knowledge!
I am a lifetime Washingtonian, residing the last 8 years in Pierce County. Currently living in Lake Tapps, Washington with my forever growing family, full of crazy kiddos. I spend my free time going to community events, exploring new areas with my family, camping and lots of party planning!
